The shock absorber is designed for use with personal fall protection equipment. It is an essential component of a fall protection system consisting of: a safety harness, shock absorber, connecting and anchoring elements. It is made of 44 mm wide polyamide tape with fastening loops at the end; it is folded into a package and covered with heat shrink foil. The ends of the shock absorber are finished with two-latch snap hooks with automatic locking, made of high-quality steel, compliant with the EN 362 standard. On the lanyard side, a snap hook with an opening width of 53 mm; a snap hook with an opening width of 17 mm is attached to the shock absorber. This shock absorber is fully certified in accordance with the EN 355 standard and as a whole has a static load resistance of 15 kN.
